2018 Patient Safety & Quality Symposium - Every Person, Every Moment: High Reliability in Patient-Centered Care

One characteristic of high reliability organizations is a high level of engagement. In addition to staff engagement, we’ll look into how increased patient engagement can improve clinical outcomes and decrease patient safety events. This includes tools and lessons learned from patient and family advisory councils, as well as the importance of a patient’s experience in their own health outcomes.
