Dr. Albert Kim is a Washington University neurosurgeon at Barnes-Jewish who focuses his practice on surgery of the brain, including but not limited to: treatment of brain tumors including: meningioma, glioblastoma, glioma, astrocytoma, oligodendroglioma, metastasis, pituitary tumors, acoustic neuroma, chordoma, chondroscarcoma, craniofacial tumors, and glomus tumors through minimally invasive endoscopic surgery, microscope-based surgery, skull base surgery, and Gamma-knife radiosurgery. His expertise also include Chiari I malformation, trigeminal neuralgia, and hydrocephalus. He additionally directs a scientific laboratory dedicated to understanding the biology of brain tumors to create innovative novel therapies.
